Pop corn partyyyyy… Elevate your movie night with irresistible home made popcorn recipe.

Hey readers welcome back, how was your last week, mine was ok, I had a test coming up at my university so took a break for a little while. Now I’m back, and it’s weekend, so partyyyyyyyy….

So what’s best on weekend, mine is really simple, at home on my best, laying down, switching on Netflix and watch a movie, accompanied with cheesy nachos and popcorn.

So today I’m sharing with you all , popcorn recipe, why go to store and buy ready made popcorn, when you can make it at home, and with the flavours of your choice

So are you all ready

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup popcorn kernels
  • 2-3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Optional toppings: melted butter, grated cheese, nutritional yeast, caramel, or your favorite seasonings

Choose Your Popcorn Kernels: Select high-quality popcorn kernels. Different varieties offer unique flavors, so feel free to experiment!

2. Use the Right Pot: Use a heavy-bottomed pot with a tight-fitting lid. This helps distribute heat evenly and prevents burning.

3. Add the Oil: Place the pot over medium heat and add the vegetable oil. Tilt the pot to coat the bottom evenly.

4. Test the Heat: Drop in a couple of kernels and cover the pot. Once they pop, the oil is hot enough.

5. Add the Rest of the Kernels: Pour in the rest of the popcorn kernels evenly across the pot. Cover immediately.

6. Shake, Shake, Shake: Continuously shake the pot to ensure even popping. This prevents the popcorn from sticking or burning.

7. Listen for the Pops: As the kernels pop, listen for the pops to slow down. This signals that your popcorn is ready.

8. Remove from Heat: Once the popping slows to about 2 seconds between pops, remove the pot from heat.

9. Let It Sit: Keep the lid on for a minute to let any remaining kernels pop. This step ensures you don’t burn yourself with a late-popping kernel.

10. Season to Perfection: Transfer the popcorn to a large bowl and add salt or your favorite seasonings. For a classic touch, melt some butter and drizzle it over the top.

Get cozy, grab your favorite movie or show, and savor your freshly made popcorn!.

Until next time
