So, don your cloaks, gather your wands, and march into your personal magical kitchen realm, and start making this amazing concoction “Of A White Sauce Fettuccine Pasta with Chicken Tikka Bites” This culinary potion is a fusion of Italian and Pakistani cuisines, crafted with the wizardry of culinary alchemy to produce a dish that is both comforting and exotic.
The origin of Fusion Cuisine
Fusion cuisine is a concept that comes from the mysterious world of culinary exploration, where brave cooks combine recipes from several cultures to produce dishes that are captivating. While pasta recipes from Italy have long been loved for their flavours, this culinary experience takes on a wonderful twist thanks to the addition of Pakistani spices.
It’s a marriage of 2 distinct elements , 1) creamy white fettuccine pasta, wearing a white marriage gown (white sauce). 2) succulent chicken tikka bites. Let’s cut the chase and let’s see what are the ingredients.
Ingredients
For White sauce pasta
- Fettuccine pasta – Summon a generous portion of fettuccine noodles from the pantry, enough to satisfy the hunger of hungry wizards and witches.
- Butter – Gather a stick of creamy butter, the magical essence that will lend richness to our white sauce.
- All-purpose flour – Add a sprinkle of flour to our potion to thicken the sauce and give it a velvety texture.
- Garlic. To keep the vampires away
- Milk – Summon a measure of fresh milk, the liquid potion that will blend with butter and flour to create our creamy concoction.
- Parmesan cheese or in my case cheddar cheese– Grate a handful of cheese, the enchanted ingredient that will add depth of flavor to our sauce.
- Salt – A pinch of salt, to season our potion and bring out the flavors of our magical ingredients.
- Black pepper – A dash of black pepper, for a subtle hint of spice and warmth.
- Red chilli flakes to give the extra hot flavour.
For Spicy Chicken Tikka Bites
- Boneless cut chicken.
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Lemon juice
- Tikka masala or red chilli flakes
- Oil for shallow frying.
For Tikka bites preparation
Marinate chicken in all the spices salt, black pepper, tikka masala, lemon juice.
Shallow fry until cooked.
Preparation of white sauce
Bring water in a cauldron to a rolling boil in order to boil the Fettuccine. After sprinkling the water with salt, carefully add the fettuccine noodles. Simmer till al dente, stirring from time to time with a magical spoon to keep them from sticking.
2) Get the White Sauce ready: Melt the butter in a magical saucepan over a medium heat. When melted, add garlic cloves, add the flour and whisk briskly to create a smooth paste called a roux in the wizarding community. Pour the milk in gradually while continuing to whisk to avoid lumps. Cook the sauce until it gets thick enough to coat a spoon in it.
3) Add the Cheese and Seasonings: Once the sauce has thickened, sprinkle in the grated Parmesan cheese and stir until it melts into the sauce. Season with salt, black pepper, and a pinch of red chilli flakes. if desired. Taste and adjust the seasoning according to your preferences.
4) Pasta and Sauce Combination: After draining, add the cooked fettuccine noodles to the saucepan along with the white sauce. Till the noodles are evenly coated, gently toss them in the sauce.
5) add the chicken bites.
6) gently toss the pasta until fully coated.
Serve and Enjoy: Transfer the white sauce fettuccine pasta to enchanted serving plates and garnish with additional Parmesan cheese and freshly ground black pepper, if desired. Serve hot and enjoy the magical flavors of this delightful dish!
